I’ve never been on a horse…. ever. I was so eager to ride, and at the same time a little nervous. I think I was more nervous about the horse just taking off and not knowing what to do to stop it. Even though our tour guide(in the blue) gave us some pointers/rules of riding, I was sure all of that would have gone out the window if I had started to panic. I was nervously excited and ready to ride..look at this view, SO GREEN!!!
I got that “oh snap, I hope this horse doesn’t take off running” face. The guy next to me was a rookie as well, I wasn’t the only one!!
My buddy was a pro, swear he’d been riding for years. Taking selfies and videos while riding with one hand….uhh not me!!! Had both my little hands on that piece of string they called a rope that was supposedly keeping me alive! We are now on the way to the mountain!!
Finally got to the top and the view was breath taking! So green and lush!!!
After we got to the top of the mountain, we hiked down to a water fall and took a quick dip!
Nice little waterfall in a country full of them
We hiked back up to the horses from the waterfall and proceeded to ride back down the mountain
We made it back to the stables, alive!!! HAHA horseback riding was so much fun, a little scary at first, especially when we were going up the mountain and at one point about a foot away from a cliff! But by the time we were riding down the mountain I was feeling like a pro. The views throughout the tour were just incredible, what a beautiful country! Fun times!!!
